The Seeds We've Sown

This scene is teeming

With life; but am I dreaming?

Looks are deceiving

My eyes; are they seeing?

Seeds of life beaming

But life; is it all it seems?

As all dust settles

I form from hand my kettle

So now life is settled

A balance with which I've meddled

A grand supply was nettled

Now trapped in life with so little

The seeds we've sown

What was once our own

Under a pale gray sky

Where no birds fly

Dejection

Hope is ejected

Depression

End is elected

Trade rains shatter banes

All is rectified for memory lane

Sultry air eases my pain

From whence happiness waned

A new hope has since came

Which I have once taken in vain

The seeds we've sown

What is now our own

Under a bright blue sky

Where many birds fly

Optimism

Hope is erected

Ambition

The new is elected

The cycle remains

Only to be taken in vain

The cycle remains

Only to continue the pain

Decaying Matriarch

Decadent you're not, you're a way of our rot

Sacrificed many ones' blood, face down in mud

Hark for a true purpose, steers clear of the surface

Rectify your name, it's shame & we will not play your game

Decaying Matriarch

People you won't starch

Toadies who won't march

Decaying Matriarch

Enlightened by light of Mars

Repair inflicted scars

Perjurer that you are, lifelines you can't mar

Symptom of a strain, infected abhorrent brain

Animals as we be, yet we cannot even see

There's no saving grace, but we won't line up for your race

Decaying Matriarch

People you won't starch

Toadies who won't march

Decaying Matriarch

Enlightened by light of Mars

Repair inflicted scars

Terrene obscenity

Involving rape & stealing

Aborting egg of meaning

No hip would pray proceeding

Amount of pain you're dealing

Suffering me

Decaying Matriarch

People you won't starch

Toadies who won't march

Decaying Matriarch

Enlightened by light of Mars

Repair inflicted scars
